It is hard to believe that we are two short months away from this season’s Championship meet! Please read through this complete email as it contains time-sensitive information.

ALSO REMEMBER - PRACTICE FOR TONIGHT 2/3 HAS BEEN CANCELED

The WCPSL Championship Swim Meet (Champs) is to be held on Saturday, March 25 at Brooke High School’s Wellness Center 29 Bruin Drive, Wellsburg, WV 26070.

WCSPL Championship Swim Meet link is now open!  To register for this meet you need to participate in at least 4 regular season meets this season. HS swimmers only need to attend 3.  WE HAVE FOUR MEETS LEFT THIS SEASON - LETS GET OUR MEETS IN TO PARTICIPATE IN CHAMPS!!!  Its such a high energy and exciting day for everyone to celebrate together a long season of swimming.  

Athletes 11 and older in a morning session and afternoon session for athletes 10 and younger. Warmup times, event start times and swimmer fees will be announced in the coming weeks. Champs Apparel

All teams will submit 1 order for their entire team.  Attached are order forms that you can use for your swimmers. We will have them printed out at the sign in table too. 

Orders are due February 7th. Individuals should NOT complete the online links provided,  this is for the whole team order only.  Payment for apparel order is due when the apparel is distributed.  

Happy Ads

There is an online link for families to create a Happy Ad this year.  Families can directly complete the form and payment to purchase a Happy Ad. The deadline for Happy Ads is February 9th.

Volunteers

Follansbee Team is asked to provide:

1 seeder per session

1 timer for the am session

2 timers for the pm session

Per our league’s rules, volunteers must provide their criminal and child abuse screening to ensure safety for our athletes. Each team is required to fill out the attached document to verify their volunteers have supplied these documents to their team board  The following are links to the screening tools:

Act 34: Pennsylvania Criminal History Check ($22.00) Website: https://epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jspPhone: 1-888-783-7972 There is NO CHARGE for requests for the purpose of volunteering. When you visit the website, click the yellow box "New Record Check" (Volunteers only). Once you complete the background check, make sure to click on the control number hyperlink to obtain the certificate. This certificate is what you need to have on file with the district.

Act 151: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Check ($13.00) Website: https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWISPhone: 1-877-343-0494 Once you create an account you will receive an email with your password. Log in to the website and complete the clearance application. There is NO CHARGE for volunteers. Verification can take up to 14 days and applicants can choose to receive notification via email, mailed to their home address, or both.
