STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

SUMMER 2024

Coach Jake has been working with the swimmers this season and we have seen progress already with stroke technique and execution. Let’s make the most of what he can offer your swimmer(s) this summer! 

AM MUSCLE FOCUS FITNESS 8:30AM

FOLLANSBEE PARK

These sessions introduce muscle groups and how they work with every stroke. Get your swimmer into shape!

PM STRETCH AND FLEX 6:30PM

BROOKE HIGH SCHOOL

These sessions are more for stretching out those upper body muscles and getting limber. Focusing on strong chest/back/core muscles to improve your posture to push through that water as well as many other upper body movements.

Learn these quick stretches and be ready for homework to get those muscles working when you’re not in the water. Your swimmer will need their resistance band given to them at practice. We encourage wearing tennis shoes and bring an extra towel or yoga mat.
